Recently, the composite material using carbon fiber is applied in the broad field.

When carbon fiber is used as Filler, it is known generally that the characteristic of it being lightweight and becoming high intensity and high elasticity is shown. There are Carbon Fiber Rein-forced Plastics; CFRP which used resin for Matrix and used carbon fiber for Filler in some which are widely used as a composite material. As other composite materials, Carbon Fiber Rein-forced Metals; CFRM which used metal for Matrix, and Carbon Fiber Rein-forced Ceramics; CFRC using ceramics are mentioned.

We are examining the optimal value of various parameters, such as selection of the carbon fiber used for Matrix and Filler, and mixed rate, and have tried realization of high thermal conductivity.
